In a small bedroom in 2008, a dream was born that would stretch far beyond its beginnings. This is the story of “MonkeyTees”, a brand born from a mother's love and encouragement. 

Markus Williams, a collegiate runner with a heart as huge as the tracks he ran, found his inspiration in the love of his mother. She was his cheerleader, the voice that pushed him beyond his limits. The phrase "putting a Monkey on your back"— overcoming the exhausting final stretch of the 400-meter dash, where every muscle screams and the finish line seems just out of reach. It was in these moments of pure will, at the 300-meter mark, that Markus learned to run with his heart, to persist through the burn, and to emerge victorious, not just in races, but in life. Pictured here after one of his races, her strength and love became part of his journey, both on the track and in the creation of his business. 

"MonkeyTees" isn't just a name; it's a legacy and tribute to a remarkable woman whose love shapes champions.
